The Mawddach Estuary
John Ruskin once said that the only journey in the world that had views to compare with the one from Dolgellau
to Barmouth, was the journey from Barmouth to Dolgellau.
Wordsworth described the estuary as "sublime". Tyddyn Du campsite is sittuated exactly halfway between Barmouth
and Dolgellau within the Snowdonia National Park ... packed with spectacular mountain scenery and beautiful green
